Dali & Cocky Prince"** (Korean: 달리와 감자탕) is a romantic comedy series from South Korea, released in 2021. The show features lead actors Kim Min-jae and Park Gyu-young, supported by Kwon Yul, Hwang Hee, and Yeonwoo. The story revolves around the unlikely romance between Jin Moo-hak, a self-made businessman with little formal education, and Kim Dali, the cultured daughter of an elite family who is struggling to keep her late father's art museum afloat. The series aired on KBS2 from September 22 to November 11, 2021.
The story begins with Kim Dali, a visiting researcher in the Netherlands, who encounters Jin Moo-hak in a rather amusing case of mistaken identity. Moo-hak, a restaurant tycoon, is far from refined, but he’s incredibly savvy when it comes to business and making money. Dali, on the other hand, is a refined and cultured woman, raised in an esteemed family, with a deep love for art and history
Their paths cross once again under less than ideal circumstances when Dali's father passes away, leaving her the responsibility of managing the family's struggling art museum. The situation worsens when Moo-hak, who happens to be one of the museum’s largest creditors, shows up to collect on his debts. What starts as a tense and awkward business relationship slowly evolves into something more as Moo-hak, initially focused solely on getting his money back, finds himself wanting to help Dali save the museum.
